This time last year I was on my way to Monaco ahead of the Top Marques Monaco show, which in my opinion is the highlight of the year. Brands from across the luxury industry come together to one of the most exciting cities in the world, Monte-Carlo. Visited by over 1.5 million tourists every year, home to a large portion of millionaire’s from around the world. It is a city where the wealthy can really relax knowing that they are around good company from the amazing hotels and casino’s of which three Bond films have been shot.
Monaco is an amazing place where you can rub shoulders with some of the worlds wealthiest individuals and families and not even know it. Every year Top Marques brings together brands from motoring, jewellery, yachting and lifestyle sectors that if you are looking for the latest and greatest assets and experiences to spend your recently given bonus, then this is the show to visit.
This year is a little different, the show is being managed by a new owner the Monaco Check-in and a different date, but the rest is all to form. Featuring more motoring brands like Bentley, Ferrari, Bugatti and from yachting Fjord Yachts.
I also heard that Mclaren will be unveiling a brand new supercar ahead of the worldwide release, Rolls Royce will be showcasing their new limited edition Wraith (one of my favourite coupes) and Aston Martin will also be displaying a ‘Special Project’ too. It is going to be one hell of a show.
“I am very pleased with how this edition is shaping up; it is going to be rich and unprecedented. The team and I have focused on developing the DNA of Top Marques: supercars and hypercars. You can come and discover unique models by iconic manufacturers but also those from other independent constructors who bring innovation, new technologies, high performance, luxury and refinement to the Principality”.
“For this new Top Marques, you will also be able to see exclusive brands from the Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie industries who will present exceptional pieces”.
Salim Zeghdar, the new director of Top Marques
