I can’t believe that we are already in the middle of March and only a few weeks away until bonuses are handed out, so now is the perfect time to think about allocating some of the cash coming. Property is one of those assets that will have some long term value, but most importantly you can enjoy. For some reason Greece always goes below the radar for me, even though it is one of the most ‘chill’ places to visit. The people are lovely, the food is always great and the landscape is a wonder and of course not forgetting the vast areas of white beaches and inviting warm blue ocean. What’s not to like?

Greece is one of the most popular destinations when it comes to chartering a yacht because the weather is always great and family friendly, which is why below are four properties that I think you should be looking at whether you are alone or with a family. Next time you charter a yacht, rather than going to a hotel, you can have your own residence that you can call home.

Grand Marine, Corfu, Greece

Grand Marine is set on a two acres clifftop with private access to the seafront. It overlooks the Mediterranean sea, the coast and mountains of Albania, the mainland of Greece and the islands of Ionian. This home was built for comfort and space with a contemporary design and traditional artifacts from India and Morocco. It consists of six bedrooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms.

The freshwater swimming pool is divided into two sections, one draining from the upper terrace into the lower, creating a waterfall feature. Alongside the pool is a cabana with a covered dining area, bar and shower. The sea can be accessed via an outside glass door lift which descends from the third level of the villa to the lower sea front terrace.
