February means one thing: The “it” crowd will brightening up Feb’s London’s Fashion Week this year, as it finally approaches next month. As the designers prepare for the biggest days of their lives, we will expect to see the likes of the A-listers take the front row seats embracing the designs of some of the most talented and iconic designers from around the world.
In line with London Fashion Week, the capitals hottest fashion talent will join Fashions Finest, as they showcase and celebrate their 10-year anniversary. Founded by Deborah St Louis in 2009. Fashions Finest provides a platform to support designers and get them recognised nationally as – well – as internationally.
Fashions Finest has been promoting the diversity within the industry since it launched, with a particular focus on British designers. Growing from strength to strength and said to be one of the most popular and sought-after independent showcases Fashion’s Finest is the most global event in the business.
With its vibrant and exciting atmosphere, attracting VIP’s from fashion, film and music this is certainly the one not to be missed. As the “style creator” for new talent the annual British Top Designer Awards, which is part of its Autumn/Winter and on its 7th season will show case new designers attracting fashioistas who are in the need of that unique fashion piece.
This years event will take place at their new home Congress Hall on the 16th Feb, Deborah says: “ We are really excited about the move. We have enjoyed our time at the Grand Connaught Rooms, but the opportunity to host our event exclusively at the new venue for Congress Hall during London Fashion Week is exciting “
Which designers should we look out for?
The schedule will start at 12 noon with “Lets Talk Fashion Business” which will see Sue Mee Maudsley, an established designer with over 25 years experience designing for many astonishing brands such as, Burberry, Topshop, Racing Green to name a few.
This sounds like a designer to watch and explore, talking about the commercial, creativity, targeting customers – every fashion buyers dream and how to grow you business there’s certainly something for everyone.
Which shows are the hottest?
Much like the industry the event attracts much creative talent and is defined by its dynamic trend pieces, however the buzz to capitalize on the hottest designer is a must. Fashions Finest is a celebration of artistic talent, influencing more than just the way we shop, but the way we choose to present ourselves to the world.
The designers and their catwalks this year are an outstanding creation of trend setting within an industry worth £202 million – fashion couldn’t function without it.

The Hot Spot…
London’s Fashion Finest line-up isn’t short of big names and not just because the Brit Heritage brands typically boost the starriest front rows.
This year Britain’s Top Designer Awards will open its doors at 7pm and will have VIP’S arrive to see which designer has won the hottest award in town. They will be introduced to jaw dropping designs, exaggerated trends and if your on the lookout for the next Karl Largerfield or Christopher Kane take heed of this years line-up.
