As we enter the end of the third quarter of the year, we select the most exquisite hotels from around the world that we feel deserve a little credit. From the UK to Asia and America, we have scouted and reviewed the location and the overall uniqueness of the hotel. There are hundreds of fabulous hotels, but these five stand out from the rest this year in 2018. In no particular order.
Located in London, UK
There are many amazing hotels across London, but The Lanesborough really caught our attention for its location near Hyde Park and one of the very few hotels that offers round-the-clock dedicated butler service in each room. The staff at the hotel are experienced and knowledgeable meaning you can rest assured that your every need will be well catered for. The hotel also has one of the best Club & Spas in the city giving you access to some the worlds greatest expert in their field of fitness, beauty and wellness.
Located in Tokyo, Japan
This is one of the oldest hotels in the city as it was opened in 1890, located south of the Imperial Palace grounds, this hotel has attracted many wealthy and high profile clients from around the world. With a historic pedigree, the hotel’s staff are trained to the highest level and adapted to look after any discerning guests. Many of the hotel’s rooms overlook the 40-acre Hibiya Park, the Palace and Ginza neighbourhood.
Located in Ravello, Italy
This hotel is a little different as it seasonal, so it is only open certain times throughout the year. Palazzo Avino is located just south of Naples, our favourite city in Italy. Placed on the Amalfi Coast you can overlook the Mediterranean where you can watch the sea glisten in the sun and along the coast you can also see the pastel-painted houses. The hotel was originally a villa built in the 12th-century for a noble Italian family, and over the years when it has been renovated, it has retained its medieval and baroque features. Hotel is closed from October 22, 2018 to April 1, 2019
Located in Honolulu, USA
This amazing hotel is placed in the centre of beautiful lush gardens fronting Gray’s Beach, the Halekulani (“house befitting heaven”) has long been synonymous with gracious Hawaiian hospitality. Halekulani has been the destination for those who want to escape the norm, with guests like Clark Gable and Doris Duke who has retreated here. The highlight for the hotel is the mosaic which has 1.2 million pieces of blue South African glass. A destination for anyone who wants to recover from their busy lives.
Located in Cong, Ireland

Built in the 13th century, it was once the Estate of Lord Ardilaun and the Guinness family, it opened as a hotel in 1939.
