Buying a private jet is one of the most exciting purchases you will ever make. It is like buying your very first car, the sense that you can fly anywhere in the world and at any time with family and friends. Unlike a car when you have a private jet, you can truly customise the interior and make it feel like home. We reached out and asked Winch Design who have a rich pedigree in luxury design to show us an example of one of their projects with the aim of showing you the possibilities and with a vision, what can be achieved.

The project that Winch Design showed us was the VVIP BBJ, an incredible jet that has a range of over eleven thousand kilometres and depending on the specifications room for eight passengers to travel in absolute comfort. There are 159 of the Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) in service which can only mean, you love them!

Their client had one simple aim; to create a relaxed “flying home” experience with a private area for the Principal and his family. As well as having a private space, the client also wanted to be able to entertain guests in his unique style. The main galley, Cabin Crew facilities and guest bedroom are located in the front area of the plane concealed behind sliding doors with unique peacock – themed metal artwork panelling. For dining, you have the long shagreen table which unfolds and extends to allow five guests and a second table which has room for another four guests.

The client’s private space is accessed by an electro-dimmable sliding glass door, giving access to a vast business desk and a large U-shaped sofa. The lounge area can configure two double beds too.

As you keep walking down the jet, you arrive to a full Master Suite bedroom and bathroom. Within the room, there is a rather impressive 64” TV, which is the largest currently offered for a certified aircraft interior. The owner’s bathroom is an exceptional place to be. The centrepiece is a custom-made blue glass washbasin, with a large shower and a mirror-faced TV which is masterfully integrated into the marble vanity area.

In summary, this is one of the most luxurious environments to unwind and escape the pressures of business, allowing you to connect with family and friends uninterrupted and arriving at your destination in style. Winch Design has shown their ability to make dreams come true, and we look forward to seeing their next big project!
