Admarel, the Dutch superyacht electronics specialist will be showing the public for the first time their new ‘Bridge of the Future’ virtual reality experience. The VR unit will showcase and give the viewer an immersive experience to explore the bridge concept for an 80-metre superyacht designed by Omega Architects using an Oculus Rift headset.

Admarel plans to use this technology as a core as part of its bridge design process. Making it easier to for engineers and designers to communicate proposals and make any necessary adjustments and compromises can quickly be identified and implemented. The result will be a bridge that are both design statements in their own right and highly efficient command and control centres.

Make sure you check them at stand QP56 at the show.
